Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Assistant Brand Manager – Core, leading the growth agenda for SUPER and OLDTOWN across 25+ markets worldwide. The core brand & category portfolio is of significant importance in the APAC region due to its substantial contribution to the APAC business.

The position is based within the Regional JDE Marketing team in Singapore and will report to the Regional Marketing Manager Core.

The Regional Assistant Brand Manager – Core will support the growth of the core brand and category portfolio in APAC by developing and implementing strategic brand, category and portfolio strategies, driving new product and business development as well as communication platform development, using our Marketing Philosophy as the guiding principle.

It is a unique opportunity to work as part of a relatively new team where you’ll help to build the Marketing function at APAC regional level.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deploy master brand strategy & visual identity, ensuring that we build distinctive and consistent brand stories in line with global guidelines.
  • Assist Marketing Manager in the development of regional communication platforms and ATL+digital assets for the APAC region, working closely with regional agency partners.
  • Support the rollout of APAC’s 36-month innovation pipeline, working closely with the Innovation Delivery team to ensure innovations are delivered on time, and in quality.
  • Develop master pack designs in alignment within the guidelines set by the Global principal.
  • Define and deploy pricing architecture in line with market pricing corridors.
  • Monitor and coordinate local brand/category plans and support shopper teams in maintaining operational excellence.
  • Coordinate regional specific media planning and buying via centrally contracted media partner.
  • Together with the Regional Market Intelligence Manager APAC, brief and perform regional market / consumer research.
  • Represent the APAC region in global ‘blueprint meetings’, supporting stakeholder alignments and information cascades.
  • Act as the brand steward for Super and Oldtown, governing creative execution across the APAC footprint countries.
  • Monitor in-market performance and seek growth opportunities to ensure financial ambitions and brand metrics are met.
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator who can proactively engage relevant stakeholders to seek constructive input or collective alignment.
  • Exemplifies the attitude to be the best in class coffee & tea company for the respective brands.

Qualifications

We’re looking for an all-round marketing professional who has the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree
  • 5 years of international Marketing & Branding experience
  • A successful experience as a marketer of brands which are emotionally important for the end consumers. Marketing expertise is essential in all its dimensions; strategic and operational.
  • Worked in an international environment on global/regional brand
  • Able to manage complex and matrix environment
  • Proven track record of initiating and driving growth successfully in previous functions
  • Managed a brand/category in a FMCG company and have a solid experience in food products and category management.
  • Successful management experience in a company focused on growth
  • Working experience in Asia is a plus
