Innovation Delivery Manager
Job Description
As the Innovation Delivery Manager (IDM) your primary responsibility will be to successfully lead multidisciplinary project teams for the integrated delivery of the larger Innovation and Renovation projects to market (Value Delivery) and to support the in-market performance of the project in market till project closure (Building success). You will acquire a portfolio of your own projects.
The Innovation delivery manager is part of the Global Innovation & Program Delivery team, which is structured to serve the business categories and the regions.
In the available role you will be working with and delivering for the Single Serve business category covering Soft pads (Senseo brand), Tassimo system, Nespresso Compatibles Capsules and LOR Barista system sub categories. Some of the projects can involve appliance development working closely with our partners. This role reports directly to the
Innovation Delivery Team Lead of Single Serve & Tea, without direct reports.
In this role you will:
• Act as the project lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams which consist of Marketing, Finance, Operations, Value Stream and Research & Development with 5 or 6 work-stream leads and an average of 15-25 indirect reports.
• Manage the projects to achieve the project deliverables on costs, quality and timing by bringing together cross-functional teams & expertise.
• Set clear parameters of project responsibilities and act as the interface between technical & commercial, allowing the different departments to truly appreciate the variation in functional perspectives & value add this brings.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
• 5+ years of experience in innovation management in a multi-functional environment interacting with (or working in) Marketing; R&D Purchasing and/or Operations & Manufacturing
• Having experience in launching large global projects involving new product development, lines and equipment installation, etc. joint with top notch business acumen.
• Having exceptional skills in both managing people (indirectly) and complex projects, asking the right questions and driving simplicity into the communications.
• Strong stakeholder management and dealing with ambiguity
• Having strong technical & commercial thinking and being able to translate the requirements to & between both functional areas.
• Having proven business acumen gained through experiential learning.
• Being able to lead & influence in a project management capacity & bring your commercial & business acumen to the table.
• A hands on-& inspirational leader who inspires great business results.
